Development boosts local trade and offers leisure to the community
Ventos de São Zacarias (VSZ) is now part of the history of Marcolândia (PI). On November 28th, the company inaugurated the town's Food Court, built through a partnership between the town hall, VSZ, and the state government. According to the town's mayor, Corinto Matos, the square was an old dream of the population, and VSZ helped to make it a reality.
The new space is named Maria Dailane Fernandes Lopes, in honor of one of the entrepreneurs who worked in the food sector in Marcolândia. Covering 4,500 m², the site has 21 new masonry kiosks to offer the population a variety of snack options, local cuisine and entertainment.
VSZ's participation is in line with the company's policy of supporting the socio-economic and sustainable development of the municipalities where it operates. It also helps to improve the city's structure and boost local commerce. Arthur Melo, Construction Manager for Ventos de São Zacarias, attended the inauguration and explained that when the company undertakes business in a region, it always leaves a legacy of contribution to the community. "We entered here next to the tax office, and we have this interface and daily logistics with the city. The idea, wherever we go, is to generate clean energy and leave a local legacy, a brand, a commitment between the company and the community," he said.
He explained that in all the towns surrounding the project, VSZ's priority is to become a partner of the town halls, communities, and associations. "We try to find the best way to develop the communities. Today we feel grateful and happy to be inaugurating an environment that provides fun and quality of life for the local community. It's gratifying," he said.
The mayor reinforced the importance of the development and how it will change the lives of local traders. "The food court is a step forward that will further boost Marcolândia's development. I would like to thank the partnerships with the company Ventos de São Zacarias and the State Government," he said.
